Spring, Baker Township, Martin County, Indiana, in the 1870 census. By the 1880 census, John, his second wife Sarah, their son Dee, and John’s son William were in Montague County, Texas, where John operated a saloon in Spanish Fort, Texas. John, Sarah, and Dee left Nocona, Texas after 1900 for Manitou, Oklahoma, where John operated a café. John and Lucinda’s sons, George, William, and Noah all stayed in Daviess County, Indiana, near Elnora, Indiana.

Moses was married 16 June 1842 in Dubois County, Indiana, to Amanda Melvina Susan Twitty, born about 1820 to Buford and Rebeckah (Brittain) Twitty. They had one child, Elvira Demerette (1842-1915) who married Allen Overton Adams.

Three of Nancy’s children moved to Fort Worth, Texas (Mary, Mattie and Moses), while all the others moved to Nebraska. It is not known when they left Indiana.

Nathan Perry France was born and raised in Indiana. He studied at seminary out of state but returned to Indiana afterwards to spend his life as a preacher for the United Brethren Church of Christ in 15 cities throughout the southern part of the state. He retired in Anderson, where he died in 1963.

Carrie Catherine Arford was born and raised in Indiana. She attended college out of state but returned to Indiana afterwards to spend her life as a preacher’s wife, travelling with her husband who was a preacher for the United Brethren Church of Christ in 15 cities throughout the southern part of the state.

Jackson was born in Indiana, and lived in Washington, Spice Valley, and Center townships while in Indiana. He eventually moved to St. Louis, Missouri. Jackson had two brothers, Zachariah and Louis, and one sister, I. May Jones. He also had half-brothers and sisters; Mary Jane, William, Henry Jones; Henry Clay, Mary Elizabeth, and William Harrison Redyard.

He was a lather by trade and is buried in Memorial Park, St. Louis, Missouri.
