Elmer was a truck driver. He was wounded twice while serving in the U.S. Army in the Philippines during World War II, and that is where he met and married Dorey. They were later divorced. He is buried in the Huntersville Cemetery, Huntersville, Franklin, Indiana, and she is buried in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery

Henry was baptized in the Smyrna Church in Decatur County, Indiana.

Edna worked as a clerk. She died at her daughter’s home in Cincinnati, and both she and Henry Frederick are buried in Lot 18 of the Huntersville Cemetery in Huntersville, Madison, Indiana.

He died at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and is buried in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, Burlington County, New Jersey.
