Lenoir came to Greene County, Indiana, before 1828. They left the state from Terre Haute, Vigo County, in 1837. They were in Benton County, Missouri, in 1842, where a son died and a daughter was born. They then took the Oregon Trail to Oregon, where Mr. Reeves, John, and Sarah lived until their deaths.

Alice was born and grew up in Indiana. She met Rufus when she was working as a waitress at a hotel in Racine, Wisconsin. She was there visiting her aunt, Rachel Hacker Clark. Alice said she saw Rufus and dropped her tray. It was love at first sight.

After her marriage to Rufus, who was in the Air Force, Alice lived at several different Air Force bases before ending up in Tacoma, Washington, where she died.

Although Eva was born in Kentucky, she grew up in Indiana. After her husband died, she went to live with her daughter in Tacoma, Washington. Her body was returned to Indiana for burial beside her husband in Rossburg Cemetery in Decatur County, Indiana.

Riley emigrated from North Carolina to Liberty, Hendricks County, Indiana, in 1840. He resided in Hendricks and Morgan counties and then immigrated from Indiana about 1855 to Gentry County, Missouri. Later Riley and Lovey moved to Wayne County, Iowa, and from there moved to Mercer County, Missouri.

George immigrated to Indiana about 1822 from Licking County, Ohio. He lived in four Indiana counties: Sullivan, Greene, Clay, and Putnam. He emigrated from Indiana about 1826 to Schuyler County, Missouri.

George enlisted in the War of 1812 in Virginia and was a lieutenant. Sometime after the war, he followed other members of his family who were moving west. George was a devout believer in the Methodist faith. Upon settling in Iowa, he opened his home on Sundays for public classes and prayer meetings, which he conducted.
