John lived in Antioch (now Andrews), Huntington County; Peru, Miami County; and Ft. Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, before emigrating about 1905/6. His family had lived in Blackford, Wabash, and Madison counties before buying land in Huntington County. He went to Wood County, Ohio, and ran a quarry above North Baltimore. He then went to Kentucky to work in the oil fields and later came back to Lucas County, Ohio. He had also worked on the Wabash Railroad.

Abraham’s family was in Harrison, Blackford County, Indiana, by 1870 and left before 1885. A farmer by occupation, Abraham and Mary adopted their nephew, Alonzo Leroy Rinard, after Alonzo’s parents and his infant brother died of “the bloody plague.”

Clarence left from Fairmount, Grant County, Indiana, after his divorce in 1915 and moved to Michigan. He enlisted in the military in White Cloud, Michigan on 3 June 1918. He served overseas from 23 July 1918 until his death. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery on 26 June 1921. In 1926, Lula married Walter Hillsamer in Grant County.
