Hilda Meguschar never married. She was the owner of a successful clothespin factory in Spencer, which was unusual for the time.
Hilda’s sister Edith did marry and had 3 sons. One was my father Don Eugene Deuitch.
Correction to post from Lisa Denkewalter Fetter
Alfred “Fred” Denkewalter married Cora Ritter. They had 2 sons: Ritter Charles Denkewalter and Frederick William Denkewalter. Ritter Charles Denkewalter had 2 sons: Dr. Fred Ritter Denkewalter( my father) and Jack V Denkewalter.
Trying to figure this all out. I am a descendant of Dr. Fredrick William Denkewalter/Elizabeth Hoyer Denkewalter. They had Alfred “Fred” Denkewalter who married Cora Ritter. Their children were Dr. Fred Ritter Denkewalter (my father) death 1999 and Jack V Denkewalter( deceased). Dr. Fred R. Denkewalter had 5 Children in Ohio: Fred Ritter Denkewalter, Jr, Lisa Denkewalter, Jack Kurt Denkewalter, Lori Kathryn Denkewalter (deceased), and William Francis Denkewalter (deceased). Jack V Denkewalter had one child, Megan Denkewalter Clary. I remember my mother took us out to McCormick Creek State Park in the 80’s. Also, I have a box of clothes pins! Lisa Denkewalter Fetter.
Update: My mother Maurine Denkewalter, had a reunion at MCCormick State Park in 1983. Descendentes of Dr.Frederick William Denkewalter attended: Olga and Alfred “Fred” . Denkewalter/Meguschar/Deuitch. Hilda M and Edith D were there. According to my mother, who was married to Dr. Fred Ritter Denkewalter (Ohio), “Elizabeth” Hoyer, went by the name of Caroline. I can’t find when she died or mid she married Dr Frederick William Denkewalter?. I spoke with David Allan Meguschar( grandfather was Walter O Meguschar, son of Olga, and was married to Beatrice.
