William Teamer worked as pattern maker for the stove works of Messrs. Roelker and Blount when he first arrived in Evansville. He then worked as a pattern maker at the Sharpe Shot Factory. He worked for them until he accepted the superintendency of the C. and V. Shops. He was then engaged to superintend the preparation of the foundation for the Evansville government building. At the completion of that contract, he went into business for himself as a pattern maker. Several patents were given to him in the area of railway joints. He and his family lived at 1025 East Illinois Street in Evansville, IN, in a house built by him in 1867.

James lived in Eagle Township, Lake County, Indiana. He owned farm land in Lake County and Porter County, Indiana. Before moving to Indiana, James lived in Tazewell County, Virginia; Gallia County, Ohio (1812-1815); Bloomfield Township, Jackson County, Ohio (1820); Elk Township, Athens County, Ohio (1830); Brown Township, Athens County, Ohio (1840); South Brown Township, Vinton County, Ohio (1850).

He purchased a 120 acre farm in Athens County, Ohio in 1834. He sold the farm in 1856 and relocated to Indiana.
Married second wife, Eliza Briggs Button Rice, 27 May 1872, Lake County, IN.  No children by that marriage.
Served two tours in War of 1812 with the Ohio Militia and was awarded a 160 acre Land Grant in Iowa (1850).

Irena and Fatima Rice married brothers John and Silas Cottrill. Edward and Esther Rice married brother and sister Emetine and James Butts. James V. married two sisters (deceased) and then Elizabeth Malcomb.

Annette’s family came to Indiana in about 1849 or1850 from Holmes County, Ohio, where she had been born. They lived near Corunna in DeKalb County, Indiana. She left Indiana in 1868 after her marriage to William Henry Riley as he returned to the family farm in Ashland, Ohio.

About seven years before her death, Annette (called Nettie) was canning and one side of her body suddenly became useless – now called a stroke. It is believed that she never fully recovered from that stroke. Eight of her children and her husband survived her when she finally died in 1892.
