David B See

David B See

Matilda Jane Bright
b. 21 December 1861, Dunn County, Wisconsin
d. 23 May 1933, Auburn, King County, Washington

Children with Matilda Jane Bright:

  • Ethel Anna
  • Elsie May

Indiana is cited as David See’s birthplace in the Bright family Bible (written in his wife’s hand), on his death certificate, on the registration of his marriage to Matilda Jane Bright in 1884, and in the 1870, 1880, and 1900 U.S. censuses for Wisconsin. However, the 1840 birthplace of David’s brother, John Bruce See, is cited as Wisconsin. Therefore, apparently Jacob A. and Elizabeth See emigrated from Indiana to Walworth County, Wisconsin, sometime between the 1835 Indiana birth of their son David and the 1840 Wisconsin birth of their son John. The family’s Indiana residence is unknown.
