Hello, I am descended from Gazaway and Mary C through their daughter Millie. You have listed that Gazaway was born in Madison County, IN, when all family stories and census records indicate he was born in Maryland. I am researching more on this family and trying to locate more information on Gazaway’s parents, George Washington Shipley and Elizabeth Shipley. Thank you for your research.
