Children with Elizabeth Keiser:

  • David (1815-1864) married Elizabeth Orchard
  • Catherine (1816-1888) married (1) John Hargin/ Hargan, (2) Henry Harter
  • William H. married Elizabeth Torrey
  • Sarah A. “Sally” (1824-1897) married Samuel Richmond
  • Mary (1827-1856) married Reuben Torrey/Toney
  • John (1828-1888) married (1) Nancy Jones, (2) Catherine Cooper
  • Absolem (1830-1896) married America Jones
  • Isaac Syrene (1832-1868)
  • Jacob Derrick “Jake” (1833-1925) married Mary Elizabeth Millard
  • Sarah Frances (1839-1916) married James Cooper

There were three more children born between William H. and Sarah A.

The family came to Indiana from Oldham County,Kentucky, in 1835. They lived in Brown, Johnson, and Morgan counties before emigrating in 1845. Isaac served in the Kentucky militia and in the War of 1812. Elizabeth was a weaver.

    I think that Dorothy Bell was a daughter she was 8/22/1822 in Kentucky. and wed Clarkson Johnson 3/8/1843 in Williamsburgh, Johnson, Indiana. Clarkson and Dorothy were found in 1852 in Cedar, Monroe, Iowa. This might be a match
