They immigrated to Indiana about 1822-24 from Warren County, Ohio. They resided in Franklin County and Washington, Decatur County, Indiana, before emigrating from Indiana during the 1850’s to Vinton, Benton County, Iowa.

    Further research has proven that John Redington’s wife’s maiden name was CLIFFORD not CHILDS.
